James Loewen was working diligently one day, as most of his days are spent, when all of a sudden he felt a warm and furry object moving by his legs. Having the longest legs in all of Burlington, it took James a few seconds to peer his gaze towards his feet. “What is that?” he exclaimed.

Rubix. He entrusted James with the knowledge that in the future all independent Mortgage and Investment Companies failed to survive because they like the Loewen Group were template driven. Wanting to see small business thrive, to change the future Rubix gave James a new vision of what could be, along with the image that would make it so.

I have worked and learned from Melissa of Serious Monkey for years ... never ceasing to amaze me with new ideas, and creative conversation topics. To reference her as an "outside the box thinker" is an understatement! Combining ingenuity and passion for others success in a professional and customer friendly manner is the key that enables both Serious Monkey’s and their client’s growth.

Van Fleet Liquid Plaster

Dan VanFleet was driving his apprentices van one day, and out of the blue he caught a glimpse of Rubix dashing across the road. Curious to understand what he saw, he followed Rubix into a cornered off alley way. “What are you?” he asked.

After he heard the response, Dan somewhat wished the question wasn’t asked. Rubix explained that he has seen the demise of all small contractors in the future because they thought image didn’t matter. They were wrong. In the future all construction was completed by machines owned by Bestmart, and nothing was customizable! It was not a future Dan VanFleet wanted to see manifest, so with Rubixs knowledge and strategy the new image of VanFleet was born.

It was almost noon, almost lunch, almost time thought Cynthia. Having everything run smoothly is vital to her clients’ bed and breakfast experience, and one day it became second place! Cynthia was finishing up her dishes when the food delivery truck rolled up. Just like every receiving day she always took precise inventory, but today something extra was included in her banana create. Rubix. “How did you get in there?” she exclaimed.

Before her breath even returned to her body she found herself making him tea, and hearing of how the future is filled with sterile environments void of luxury and comfort for the average patron. This was not a future which Cynthia could sleep at ease knowing was a possibility, so with Rubix at her ear, Cynthia re-imagined the future along with her logo! She now sleeps soundly.

Seeing the world in Purple, Black, and Red, Ben Hogan couldn’t contrive why his one monitor was seeing an odd shape. The infrared screen was showing that inside the crate he was looking though a monkey was sitting still in a meditative position. With his intrigue peaked he opened the box, to find cross legged Rubix calmly gazing up at him. “That’s Interesting” Ben remarked.

On the truck ride home Ben was warned of a future where it was only machine eyes that saw in infrared, or ultrasound. Having seen his competition go under many a time Ben knew how it would feel to have to close up shop, so he was all ears. With a newfound ideal, image, and strategy for Imatech, Rubix parted with Ben, knowing he will see his logo for years in the future!

Improbable Creations

Working inside his Special Effects studio, Brett Moore was on auto pilot one day. Without understanding fully what he was creating the form of a monkey began to take shape. It was only when a voice from the door broke his concentration that he realized what he was creating was a replica of what stood in his doorway. “Where did you come from?” Brett inquired curiously.

Rubix calmed Brett’s fears by explaining that although the future he came from was not one in which the entertainment industry was even remotely entertaining. His special talent for effects and even restoration could be what the future needs to bring blockbuster effects back to a lifeless industry! Brett of course listened to a talking monkey and Improbable Creations is now a Probable force to be reckoned with, having the image to back up the movement. The future keeps looking brighter.

Serious Monkey was a pleasure to work with. They were able to adapt to my busy schedule and provided excellent, friendly service. They performed an excellent job, bringing my companies logo from concept to design. I would certainly use them again.
